Iraq might be attacked, Australian official says
Iraq-Australia, Politics, 11/8/2001

Former Australian Prime minister Garth Evans, who is also the chairman of the " International group for crisis" said that despite the fact that no direct relation was found between Baghdad and the incidents of September 11, yet is it probable that Iraq will be another battlefield because of its production of mass annihilation weapons, besides the danger of the Anthrax which is considered as another source of concern.

In a press statement he made in Ankara on Wednesday following the conclusion of discussions of the International group for crisis with the Turkish officials, Evans added that Turkey and countries of the ME region will be affected if the US would decided to tackle with the Iraqi question in case new evidences are founded on Iraq's involvement in recent incidents.
