Vedrine, Peres hold talks on resuming ME peace

The French foreign minister Hubert Vedrine and his Israeli counterpart Shimon Peres held talks on Wednesday in Paris on means of resuming peace efforts in the Middle East.
In conclusion of a close door meeting lasted for 40 minutes Peres, who is holding an official visit to France, said he is working to set a plan that will avail the Palestinians and the Israelis to resume the dialogue.
For his part Vedrine stressed the need of finding out a vaster political prospect that would lead to the establishment of a surviving Palestinian state.
