Al-Faisal in Washington today

Well-informed sources in Riyadh said that the Saudi foreign minister prince Saud al-Faisal will start today a visit to Washington that will last for three days before he will head to New York to take part in the works of the new session of the UN General Assembly.

During his visit to Washington, the Saudi foreign minister will discuss with high ranking American officials conditions in Afghanistan, the Israeli escalation in the occupied Arab territories and the acts of killing and destruction carried out by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people..

On the sideline of their participation at the UN General Assembly GA meetings, the Arab foreign ministers, members at the Gulf Cooperation Council GCC six member states will hold a meeting next week in order to crystallize a united position expressing policies of their countries towards current conditions and issues in the world.
