Syria to continue hosting Palestinian Organizations
Syria, Politics, 11/7/2001

The London- based al-Hatat daily said in its Tuesday's issue, according to diplomatic sources in Damascus that Syria will continue to host several Palestinian organizations whose names were stated in the new American list demanded to freeze their assets.

According to well-informed sources, the paper added that Damascus informed Washington that terrorists who have links to the al-Qaeyda organization do not have assets in Syria.

On the other hand, Lebanese official sides told al-Hayat that Lebanon does not consider itself involved to responde to the request of the US and certain countries to freeze Hizbullah assets after listing the name of Hizbullah in the list demanding the freezing of assets of several organizations.
