Al-Assad gets a message from UAE President

Syrian President Bahar al-Assad on Monday in Damascus received minister of information and culture in the United Arab Emirates UAE Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed al-Nahyan.

The meeting was attended by the UAE ambassador in Damascus Ali Bin Seif Sultan.

The President received a message from UAE President Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan.

Discussions dealt with conditions in the region and on the international arena as well as bilateral relations between the two countries.

Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed and members of the accompanying delegation arrived in Damascus earlier in the day.

He was welcomed at the airport by the deputy premier for economic affairs Khaled Raad and the UAE ambassador in Damascus.
