A new Syrian government expected very soon

The Saudi daily Okaz issued on Friday said that the leadership of the progressive National front in Syria has held a meeting and decided to form a new government in Syria of a mere political nature.

The paper added quoting well-informed Syrian sources that it was presumed that the new government would be presided over by Dr. Farouk Abu al-Shamat but he apologized to assume this post due to health reasons. A matter which delayed the news on the resignation of Miro government which was due in the news bulletin of 8.30 p.m. Thursday in the Syrian TV.

The paper added that the new formation of the Syrian government will be declared within few days.
