UAE buys 25 US Boeing 777 planes at USD 6.6 billion

The government of the Dubai Emirate on Sunday signed a letter on intention to buy 25 Boeing planes at a cost of USD 6.6 billion.
The chairman of the UAE airline company owned by the government of Dubai Sheikh Ahmad Bin Saeed al-Maktoum explained that these plains will be used in particular for the flights to the far east and Europe and that there are non- stop flights to Australia, planned to be held in 2002.
This was made after the announcement made by Sheikh Ahmad that the company signed a contract at a cost of USD 45.8 billion with the European Eurbus to buy 22 A 380 planes with the possibility of also getting more 10 planes.
He added that the company also signed a message of intention to buy 8 giant planes A 340 -600 which are provided with four engines.
