Egypt, Arab states challenge Israel at the UN

Egypt's permanent representative at the UN Ahmad Abu Gheith has stressed that Egypt and the Arab states have, during the recent meetings of the UN, challenged Israel's attempts to falsify facts concerning the question of the Palestinian refugees and gave proved evidences unmasking the practices and schemes carried out by the Israeli army against the unarmed Palestinians. Measures that force the Palestinians to leave their homes.

In a statement to Sawt al-Arab radio on Sunday, Abu Gheith added that the Arab delegations clashed with the Israeli delegation at the UN while providing these evidences, stressing that the Israeli statement submitted to the UN meetings was full of distorted facts and therefore it was confronted by the Arabs and Egypt.

Abu Gheith held Israel fully responsible for the expulsion of the Palestinian people from their lands following the brutal massacres committed by the Israeli "army and gangs" in the occupied Arab territories since 1948 especially Deir Yassin and Deir al-Balah massacres and many others.
