An Arab fund to develop potentials of Arab expatriates

In its consultation meeting at the level of permanent representatives, the Arab League AL council discussed arrangements to convene the coming conference of Arab intellectuals which will start on November 16 in Cairo to deal with the world media campaign aimed at distorting Arab image and identity and at accusing this Arab identity of being part of the acts of violence, challenging world civilization.

The meeting which was headed by the AL secretary general Amr Moussa discussed the establishment of a fund to support Arab communities abroad so as to be able to show the true Arab image before the world public opinion.

In a statement following the meeting that his tour to the US was discussed during the meeting as well as the forthcoming meeting of Arab intellectuals to deal with the current campaign to distort the image of the Arab citizen and identity as allegedly claimed to be part of the acts of violence and the politics defying world civilization.
