Hizbullah refuses an American proposal

The London- based al-Hayat daily issued on October 31 said, according to well-informed sources that the Hizbullah party has refused an American proposal conveyed to it by mediation and states to normalize US relations with this party and then to lift its name from terrorist organizations list for its co-operation with Washington and its co-ordination with it in confrontation of several extremist organization, including Taliban in Afghanistan.

The paper explained, according to the same sources that mediating sources conveyed this proposal to the leadership of the Hizbullah Party in Beirut just two weeks ago. The sources added that this offer also states this party to take declared stances in abstaining carrying out operations against Israel in Shebaa farms and to be converted into a political party as well as to cooperate with Washington against other extremist organizations including Taliban and this will be for not considering it by the American administration as a terrorist organization.

The sources unveiled that this proposal was with member of the US congressman of Lebanese origin Darrel Issa during his recent visit to Beirut in the mid of October.
