Speaker of German regional parliament in Morocco

Speaker of the parliament of the German Rhine-Westphalia region, Ulrich Schmidt, started this Thursday a three-day visit to Morocco. Schmidt will confer with members of the Moroccan cabinet and of parliament on cooperation between Morocco and the Rhine-Westphalia region, one of the 16 regions of Germany.
In a statement to reporters upon arrival, he expressed satisfaction over the volume of trade exchanges and the multi-faceted partnership between Morocco and the German region.
