Israel dumps toxic waste in the West Bank, Gaza

The Palestinian environment official at the Palestinian Authority Youssef Abu Safeyah said that Israel has dumped poisonous toxic wastes in the West Bank and Gaza.
In a statement to Sawt al- Arab radio issued on Wednesday Abu Safeyah stressed that more than 50 position used by Israel as a dumping place for toxic waste were defined and that one of these places is in Gaza where 50,000 tons of wastes were dumped which means total destruction of the underground water reservoirs.
He also indicated the laboratory tests of some immunization used by the Israeli forces against the Palestinians prove that there is Uranium in it.
He explained that if this radioactive element ( Uranium ) will reach the waters or the soil it will destroy soil on the Palestinian territories for hundreds of years.
