Sudan and Bin Laden

The Sudanese foreign minister Mustafa Othman Ismael has stressed that the Sudanese government has joined a dialogue with the administration of the former US President Bill Clinton in the Summer of 1996 to hand over Osama Bin laden.
In statements to the London- based al-Sharq al-Awsat daily issued on Wednesday Ismael accused the Clinton's administration of loosing the proposal made by Khartoum over handing over Bin Laden.
The Sudanese minister added that the dialogue was made between the Sudanese and American security departments, but the former US administration violated these efforts.
