An Arab- European tour for Moussa

Sources at the Arab league have stressed that the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa will on October 31 until November 6 hold an Arab- European tour during which he will hold talks on the grave conditions in the region as a result of the Israeli escalation against the Palestinian people and the American air bombardment of Afghanistan.

The sources said that Mousa starts his tour today in a two day visit to Lebanon during which he will hold talks with high ranking Lebanese officials, especially the Lebanese President Emil Lahoud on conditions in the region and preparations for the Arab banks conference due to be held in Beirut.

The sources added that the AL chief will also visit Kuwait and hold talks on conditions in the region and Afghanistan. Moussa will be also visiting Syria to attend meetings of the Arab follow up committee of the recent Arab summit in which foreign ministers of the said Arab committee member states will attend.

Moussa will conclude his tour by visiting Brussels to attend works of the ministerial meeting of the Euro-Mediterranean partnership association and will hold talks with officials at the European commission.
