Continued raids at Kabul, Qindahar and Jalaal Abaad
Regional-Afghanistan, Politics, 10/31/2001

Following a morning wave of bombardment the US jets renewed on Tuesday afternoon attacks at Taliban's positions to the Northern East of Kabul.

The American jets also bombarded Qindaha city, the main place for the movement, in an attack described by Taliban sources as " very tough and ruthless."

Meantime, the commander of the American operations in Afghanistan said that the American attack is taking place at set dates and facing no bottlenecks.

Meantime, the Afghani news agency said that the bombardment resulted in killing 4 civilians and wounding other ten, noting that 500 American and their allies troopers exist in Fayez Abaad in the heart of the Afghani district of Bdakhshan which falls under the control of the Afghani opposition. Taliban sources stressed that among the American military troopers are skilled soldiers and experts, but Afghani opposition sources ( the northern alliance ) denied these news and at the same time asked the US to provide it with weapons.
