Russian- Libyan forthcoming summit

The Russian foreign minister Igore Ivanov has announced that the question of convening a Russian- Libyan summit is scheduled on the agenda of bilateral talks between the two sides.
The Russian minister stressed following the end of the talks on Tuesday in Moscow with his Libyan counterpart Abdul Rahman Shalqam that work continues actively in preparations for convening this summit noting that coordination will be made later between the two sides to define the place and time of the expected meeting between the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Leader of the Libyan revolution col. Mu'ammar al-Qaddafi.
Ivanov and Shalqam had discussed during their meeting issues pertinent to the efforts of the international community to fighting terrorism and bilateral relations between the two countries and means of developing and strengthening them for mutual benefits.
