A European source and Walker tour

The Qatari daily al-Watan quoted a European diplomatic source in Beirut as saying that the visit of Edward Walker to Beirut was an attempt to direct messages to the political leaderships in Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and the Israelis that it is a ripe rime to change the track of the game and to return back to serious dialogue.
The source quoted in a statement to the paper, Walker as saying that nobody guarantees whether the US strikes will later target Hizbullah, the Hamas movement and the Islamic Jihad, considering that ruling out Lebanon from these strikes is linked to the extent of its cooperation with the US administration.
