A dissent in al-Ansar group
Lebanon, Politics, 10/31/2001
The Lebanese daily al-Sharq said in its Tuesday's issue that there are signals on that a dissent will take place with Osbat al-Ansar ( al-Ansar group) led by Ahmad Abdul Karim al-Saadi, better known as Abu Muhjin.
The paper said in a report on Tuesday that the dissent has become almost certain following the information derived from well- informed security sources inside and outside Ein al-Helweh camp in Sidon on that there is a conflict over leading al-Osba ( the group) by al-Nour group, led by Abdullah al-Shreidi.
The paper indicated there are threats targeting judge Saeed Merza and the attorney general in south of Lebanon Jamil Beyram by al-Nour group whose founder Hisham al-Shreidi was assassinated earlier.
