UN envoy and the Israeli violations

The representative for the UN secretary general in Lebanon Stevan De Mitsora has considered the almost daily Israeli violations at the borders with Lebanon as a violation to international laws and norms.
In a meeting he held on Tuesday with the governor of south Lebanon Faisal al-Sayegh, De Mitsora said:" we have asked Israel repeatedly to halt the violation on the border with Lebanon and we keep on asking for that so as conditions will not be escalated. " He stressed that the UN exerts all its efforts to maintain calm in south Lebanon.
