World-Islamic-Christian Dialogue Forum winds up

World- Islamic-Christian Dialogue forum wound up its proceedings yesterday in Cairo under Grand Imam of Al Azhar Sheikh Mohammed Sayed Tantawi, chairman of World Islamic Council for Dawaa (Call) and Relief.
The forum, attended by high-level delegations from Islamic and Christian world bodies, condemned terror attacks against Washington and New York since they violated religious morals and international norms. The forum, also, condemned terrorism in all its forms carried out by states, armed groups and individuals.
But, the forum acknowledged the rights of peoples to self-defence, sovereignty over their homelands, restoration of their occupied territories, in addition to self-determination rights.
The forum have come up with a number of recommendations, foremost of which is that launching war out of avengence is not the right way to combat or uproot terrorism.
The form called for putting an end to Israeli acts of aggression against Palestinian territories, Jerusalem, Islamic and Christian holy sites.
It also, called for holding an international conference-to be attended by all religious, cultural, intellectual, official and popular bodies worldwide to lay down a charter based on Divine morals according to which a just world order is to be established.
