Sabah al-Ahmad to visit washington

Acting prime minister and foreign minister in Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah will visit Washington by the beginning of November to discuss with the US President George Bush and his deputy Dick Chenny as well as the US secretary of state Colin Powell current developments on the international arena. Sheikh al-Sabah was due to hold this visit on September 21 but the sudden sickness of the ruler of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah made him postponed the visit.
Sources at the Kuwaiti foreign ministry said there are no sort of tension in the Kuwaiti- American relations. A fact confirmed by the new American ambassador to Kuwait.
