Blair to visit Israel

The Israeli radio said on Monday that the British prime minister Tony Blair will arrive in Israel on November 7th with the aim to establish talks with the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon.
The radio quoted Israeli sources as saying that Blair's visit relates to the British plan proposed by the British foreign minister Jacque Straw recently before the US Administration on solving the Israeli- Palestinian conflict.
The sources added that according to the US sources that the US President administration is not eager for this plan, nor for European initiatives to this end.
On the other hand, Sharon told the US administration on Monday that he might be obliged to postpone his visit due to the US by the beginning of next month because of the tense conditions in the Palestinian territories.
