INTERPOL bulletin to hand over 40 terrorists
Egypt, Judicial, 10/29/2001
Intensive contacts have been made recently between Egyptian security systems and the International Criminal organization in Paris 'INTERPOL'.
The international body is expected to release shortly a 'red bulletin' comprising names of 40 leading Egyptian terrorists who fled outside the country several years ago.
Those persons have been judiciary sentenced or officially accused of various terrorist charges, as well as of practicing notorious activities abroad aiming at jeopardizing security in Egypt.
The INTERPOL has already received full data about the real and the coded names and the different passports held by those terrorists.
The international criminal organ has also been briefed on the cases and accusations raised by the State Security Prosecution against the perpetrators, beside naming the countries they are expected to live in.
This new bulletin will be the second after the first one that was issued two weeks ago on Ayman al-Zawahri.
Following the release of this bulletin the Egyptian security bodies will perform contacts via due channels to arrest those terrorists in the countries they are using as haven.
At the top of them are: Mostafa Hamza, the key suspect in the abort bid to assassinate President Mubarak in Addis Ababa, Mohamed Shawqi al-Eslambolli, Yasser al-Serri, Adel Abdel Quddus and Rifaie Ahmed Taha.
