USD 6.8 billion, losses of the Palestinian economy since the eruption of the Intifada

The Palestinian Authority announced on Sunday that losses inflicted in the Palestinian economy as a result of the military siege imposed by the Israeli government since the beginning of the Intifada reached USD 6.8 billion.
The financial official at the Palestinian authority Zuhdi al-Nashashibi said that revenues of the Palestinian authorities reduced from USD 90 million to USD 20 million per month.
Al-Nashashibi expected that the budget deficit for the current year to reach USD 840 million. The Israeli radio reported.
