Iraq exempts Malaysian business people from entry visas to Iraq

Iraq has exempted the Malaysian businessmen, investors and industrialists and pilgrims from getting an entry visa to it.
The Iraqi minister of industry and minerals Muyassar Raja Shallah who arrived on Friday evening from Kuala Lumpur where he presided over the Iraqi side to the meetings of the joint Iraqi- Malaysian committee that concluded its works on Thursday said that this exemption came as an expression of Iraq's appreciation to the positive stances shown by the people and government of Malaysia towards the Arab nation causes and the question of Iraq and their continued support t the Iraqi people in confrontation of the sanctions.
On the other hand, Shallah stressed that results of the joint meeting were positive and constructive. He explained that the minutes of meeting signed in conclusion of the meeting would contribute to strengthening and expanding prospects of joint co-operation between the two countries.
However, the Malaysian foreign minister Hamid al-Bar visited Iraq in June and was shown with Iraq's needs in the infrastructure field especially in the sector of health.
