Al-Qaeyda activist handed over to the US

Pakistani government sources have stated that Jamil Qasem Saeed Muhammad was handed over to the US because of being a suspect member at al-Qaeyda organization and his participation in the attack which targeted the USS Cole in 2000 in Aden.

The daily " Washington Post" quoted the same sources as saying that Muhammad ( 27 year old) who is a Yemeni students studying in Pakistan, and an active member in al-Qaeyda organization was handed over in secret to the American authorities last Friday.

The Pakistani authorities arrested Muhammad who is the first suspect to be involved in the attack to be arrested outside Yemen in the framework of investigations following the attacks of September 11 in the US.
