Maher, Moroccan FM discuss Agadir agenda
Morocco-Egypt, Politics, 10/27/2001
Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher and his Moroccan counterpart Mohammed Bin Eissa Thursday discussed items on the agenda of a Mediterranean forum meeting slated for Friday in the Moroccan city of Agadir with the participation of 11 member states.
Maher said that he agreed with Ben Eissa on the necessity of the conference to discuss the deteriorating conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Egypt's top diplomat said that the meeting will be an opportunity to highlight Egypt's anti-terror stance, the necessity of combatting it and punishing those responsible within an international legitimacy framework while sparing innocent civilians the ravages of wars.
