Al-Assad heads today for Sudan

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad heads today ( Saturday) for Khartoum in a visit to the Republic of Sudan at the invitation of the Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir during which the Syrian President will hold talks with the Sudanese President and high ranking Sudanese officials. The President is accompanied by an official delegation including the foreign minister Farouk al-Shara and the Syrian charge de affairs in Sudan.
