Russia calls for the Israeli withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories

The Russian foreign ministry called on Israel to immediately withdraw from the occupied Arab territories.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Russian foreign ministry said that the escalation of violence in the Middle East threatens international security. The Russian ministry stressed that the situation proceeds towards a confrontation between the Israelis and the Palestinians, noting that such a development is a threat to international security.
Moscow, on the other hand, called on the two sides to resume negotiations and renewed its call on Israel to pullout its forces from the Palestinian territories.
