European tour operator signs partnership accord with Moroccan tourism company

The European hotel chain RIU has signed a partnership accord with the Moroccan tourism company Tikida Hotel, under which it will contribute 320 million Dirhams (about $29.09 million) to the capital of the Marrakesh Tikida Dunes Hotel.
Under the accord, the Spanish-German RIU group will manage the Tikida Dunes Hotel in Marrakesh and will run, under its label, the Tikida Beach Hotel in Agadir. The two hotels will open by November 2002.
The RIU group, incepted in 1953, owns and manages more than 100 hotels in several Mediterranean and central American countries.
