First international fishery show held in Agadir

The Moroccan southern Atlantic city of Agadir is playing host this October 24-27 to the first international fishery show, held under the topic "protect the sea, preserve the future."
The fair is displaying new fishing technologies and equipment, propelling engines, prospecting systems and security devices, ice-making equipment, fish processing and conservation equipment, packing and transport systems.
The event features round tables on responsible fishing for a rational management of sea resources, how to increase national fish consumption in Morocco, the promotion of sea products, and the preservation and improvement of fish quality.
Fishery professionals and some 140 enterprises from France, Spain, Portugal, the United kingdom, the United States, India, South Africa, Denmark, Italy, Norway, Belgium, Russia, de Sweden, Poland, Iceland, Thailand, Canada and the Netherlands are participating in the event.
