New Israeli massacres against the Palestinians, 21 killed, scores wounded by Israeli tank shells

In a flagrant defiance to the demands of the US President George Bush and his state secretary Colin Powell Israel on Wednesday carried out massacres in the occupied Palestinian territories where number of killed Palestinians tolled 21 in Beit Rima, village, Qalqilya, Ramullah and Bethlehem as well as tens of wounded, as the Israeli tanks started to open fire at the Palestinians in their houses while special units were carrying out breaking in operations and assassination acts.

These massacre was coincided with missile bombardment fired randomly by the Israeli helicopters at the houses.

Observers stressed that a " new Kafer Qasem" massacre took place in Beit Reima village and tens of Palestinian wounded were bleeding on the roads and the Israeli forces prevented ambulances from having access to them and that bodies of the killed Palestinians were seen under olive trees and that communications are almost broken with beit Reima.

Bethlehem, on the other hand, was exposed to the worst bombardment and several shells were dropped near al-Mahd ( the birth place of the Christ) Church and smoke columns covered most parts of the city. The Israeli bombardment also targeted Toulkarem and Abu Deis village near Jerusalem, Ramullah, al-Khalil and Qalqilya and strong confrontations took place. The clashes also extended to the Gaza sector areas and the Palestinians attacked by bombs and bottles several Israeli positions.

The Israeli army aggressions were also coincided with terrorist practices by the Israeli settlers in Hebron where a group of those settlers broke into al-Qazzaz mosques and destroyed its content. Another group of Israeli settlers opened fire at 8 Palestinians who were inside a car and all of them were wounded.

Meantime, the Israeli Prime minister Ariel Sharon renewed the US rejection to respond to the calls made by the US over pulling out the army from the areas it broke in.

In a speech he delivered at the Israeli Knesset on the occasion of the first week of killing the Israeli minister of tourism Rah'bam Zeifi, Sharon stressed that his government refuses to pullout its forces from these areas and will keep part of these forces in the territories to achieve all its objectives especially to completely eliminate the Palestinian Intifada.
