Ruler of Qatar to visit al-Riyadh on Sunday
Qatar-Saudi Arabia, Politics, 10/24/2001

The ruler of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani will visit al-Riyadh on Sunday and meet with the Saudi King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz and the crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.

An official Arab Gulf source said that a telephone call was made between the ruler of Qatar and the Saudi crown prince following the recent developments in the Palestinian territories and the Israeli armored vehicles and tanks breaking into the Palestinians cities during which it was agreed on Sheikh Hamad's visit to al-Riyadh.

Worthy mentioning that Qatar in its capacity as the head of the Organization of the Islamic Conference OIC session started two days ago a move to withstand developments in the occupied Palestinian territories and in the name of the OIC called on the UN Security Council to convene a meeting.
