UN senior executive expected in Morocco wednesday

UN under secretary general and director of the UNDP regional bureau for Arab States, Ms Rima Khalaf Hunaidi, is expected in Morocco Wednesday on a four-day work visit to Morocco.
Ms Hunaidi is scheduled to confer with Moroccan officials, economic operators, as well as with activists of the civil society.
Ms Hunaidi is the first Arab woman to hold such a high position in the UN development program (UNDP). The regional bureau for Arab states, which covers 17 countries, focuses its programs and efforts over the 2001-2004 period on the promotion of good governance, economic competitiveness and new information and communication technologies.
