Al- Assad confers with Moroccan prime minister

Syrian President bashar al-Assad on Monday at the Damascus al-Shaab palace received the first minister in Morocco and members of the accompanying delegation.
The delegation includes Muhammad Bin Issa, the minister of foreign affairs and co-operation; Ismael al-Alawi the minister of peasants and rural development; Mustafa al-Mansouri the minister of commerce and industry; Abdul salaam Zneind the minister of transport and commerce navigation and Muhammad al-Ash'ari, the minister of culture and telecommunications.
The meeting was attended by the prime minister Muhammad Mustafa Miro, and Syria's ambassador to Morocco and the Moroccan ambassador in Damascus.
The two sides reviewed conditions at the Arab and international arenas and view points were exchanged regarding them.
Discussions also dealt with prospects of bilateral co-operation and the need of promoting it in all fields for the interests of the two countries.
Works of the Syrian- Moroccan joint higher committee currently held in Damascus were also reviewed.
