US- Sudan cooperation in exchanging information to fight terrorism

The acting official spokesman for the US state department Philip Rocker has indicated that there is a close cooperation in the area of exchanging special information relating to fighting terrorism between the US and Sudan.
In a statement to the Sudanese daily al-Ayam ( the days) issued on Monday, the US official indicated that there are other issues of interests in the US relations with Sudan, namely the war in southern Sudan, and human rights, noting that contacts are continuous between the two sides in this regard in the context of the mission carried out by the US envoy to Sudan Jacque Danfourth.
