China and Bin Laden

The British daily " the Guardian " said in its Saturday's issue that China had paid millions of USD to Osama Bin Laden in order to get the US- made Cruise missiles, which did not explode after their launching at Afghanistan three years ago by the American forces.

The paper quoted an agent for al-Qaeyda organization in Europe as saying that Bin laden used these money to finance the rebellions in Chechenea against the Russian forces.

The paper indicated that China denied in 1998 to have got the Cruise missiles which were fired at Afghanistan in revenge for the blowing off of the American embassies in Nairobi and Dar al-Salaam, besides that China had paid the money despite the increasing threats constituted by Muslims in the Chinese separatist district of Sinjiang.

The US, then had fired 75 missiles at Afghanistan and it was stated then that 40 of them did not explode.
