Alexandaritta Sanjak is not existed in Turkish geography book

The Turkish daily Middle East said in its Saturday's issue that grave mistakes were found in the geography book 2001 issued by the Turkish business men society which used some 14 experts to release it.
The paper explained that the mistakes were in that the Hattai district ( Alexandaretta Sanjak which was ceded from Syria by Turkey) is not included in several Turkish maps.
Commenting on this matter, the teacher at Ataturk university Haqqi Yazhi said that this is a grave mistake which can not be accepted even it was made by mistake.
