Gulf information minister to meet in Bahrain on Wednesday

The information minister in the Gulf Co-operation Council GCC will discuss in their Wednesday's meeting in Bahrain the role played by the media in fighting terrorism and the dangers of international terrorism as a phenomenon and the need to challenge it and deal with its reasons.

This was expressed in a press statement made by the secretary general of the Gulf Co-operation Council GCC Sheikh Jamil al-Hujeilan. He said that the ministers will also discuss the efforts exerted that should be made to correct the distortion inflected on the Arab, Muslim and Gulf image who have been exposed to a huge distortion campaign following the attacks on the US in September.
