Mubarak gets a message from Saudi King, crown prince
Egypt-Saudi Arabia, Politics, 10/22/2001

President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt on Saturday in Cairo on Saturday received a message from the Saudi King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz and his crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.

The message was handed over by the Saudi foreign minister prince Saud al-Faisal during his meeting with President Mubarak on Tuesday at Sharm esh Sheikh city.

The Egyptian foreign minister Ahmad Maher said that "the message relates to developments of current conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories in light of Israel's escalation of its brutal practices against the unarmed Palestinians and the need to work for halting these practices which violate all international resolutions."

Maher added that during the meeting discussions dealt with means of fighting terrorism, stressing the identical view points between the two countries in the need of avoiding damages on the civilians during the terrorism- fighting operations.
