Moroccan-Syrian high joint commission meets Sunday

The Moroccan-Syrian high joint commission will convene a session October 21-23 in the Syrian capital city of Damascus to debate means to upgrade cooperation between the two Arab states. The session will be co-chaired by Moroccan Premier Abderrahmane Youssoufi and Syrian peer Mohamed Mustapha Miro. This is the first session of the Moroccan-Syrian commission since its creation.
Several cooperation accords will be signed during the Damascus session, a release by the Moroccan Prime Minister's department said.
Youssoufi is currently in Lebanon, where he is co-chairing with Lebanese peer, Rafiq Harrir, the first session of the Moroccan-Lebanese high joint commission.
