King Abdullah, Blair meeting was very useful
Jordan-UK, Politics, 10/18/2001

A spokesman for the British government in London described on Wednesday the meeting held between the British prime minister Tony Blair with the Jordanian King Abdullah II which was held in London on Tuesday evening as very useful.

The spokesman said that the King told Blair that the establishment of the Palestinian state is a must by the ultimate end.

On the other hand an official within the delegation accompanying King Abdullah said that the Jordanian monarch addressed a clear message to the British prime minister saying that a just solution for the Palestinians will be the only guarantee for maintaining stability in the Middle East and establishing the Palestinian state is a necessity because this will be in the interests of all.

The Jordanian official added that King Abdullah II called on the international community to act promptly to re-set the ME peace process into its right track.
