British archbishop calls for strengthening understanding between Muslims, Christians in the UK

Archbishop George Cary of Canterbury in Britain has called for the formation of a commission in Britain to consolidate understanding between Muslims and Christians in the UK.
In a statement he made on Wednesday during a visit to al-Suleimaneyah mosque to the east of London, Archbishop Cary said that the current American military raids has no links to any of the religions, noting that there is a need for a deeper dialogue between Christians and Muslims.
In an article issued on Wednesday by the British daily " the Times" archbishop Cary called for not repeating the suffering befell on the Iraqis 11 years, now in Afghanistan.
