Gulf information ministers meet next week

The information ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states will hold their 12nd meeting in al-Manama, Bahrain next week.
The secretary of the Saudi ministry of the information Abdullah al-Jaser said that the secretaries of these ministries will hold a preliminary meeting on next Monday and Tuesday in order to prepare an integrated file for the meeting of the ministers.
He added that the meeting's agenda includes new efforts to maintain contacts with the world mass media and to challenge media stand against the GCC.
Al-Jaser continued that the GCC member states seek to intensify its work as a homogenous media group at the international level especially following the developments taking place at the international arena.
