German FM to tour the region

The German Foreign minister Yushka Fischer will next week hold a tour on the region during which he will be visiting Iran, Saudi Arabia and Palestine.
German government's sources said on Tuesday that Fischer's talks in Iran and Saudi Arabia will deal with the efforts made to re-launch the ME peace process in the Middle East and current developments in the region.
This visit comes following the unofficial European summit which will be held next Friday in Belgium where the Middle East question and the situation in Afghanistan will be the main issues for debate among the European Union leaders.
Fischer is also expected to head on Thursday for Pakistan to be acquainted with the conditions of the Afghani refugees.
