Morocco, Senegal to cooperate in disabled integration
Morocco-Senegal, Culture, 10/16/2001
Morocco and Senegal signed on Monday a program to enforce a 1999 bilateral agreement on cooperation in disabled persons integration.
The agreement seeks to develop Moroccan-Senegalese cooperation in social policy, mainly regarding the integration of handicapped persons. The two African countries have, to this end, devised an annual program of activities consisting mainly in the creation of a network of associations active in the integration of disabled persons to consolidate their capacities and human resources.
The agreement also provides for supporting an education and training center for visually-impaired persons in Thies (Senegal).
