Morocco, Sweden cooperate in study on industrial maintenance and safety

Morocco and Sweden have developed a cooperation project in a survey on industrial maintenance and safety in Morocco.
The Morocco-Swedish project, extending over three years, covers a survey on the ground of more than 500 small and medium enterprises, an audit of maintenance in 8 companies and an awareness campaign on the importance of maintenance for enterprises leaders.
A Moroccan official explained the project means to lower obstacles that hamper a modern management of maintenance in industrial enterprises. It is a follow-up of a series of actions undertaken by Morocco's public authorities to modernize the industrial fabric, promote quality and training within enterprises and improve infrastructures.
Sweden, through its international development agency, has already contributed to several projects in Morocco, mainly an environment protection action and promotion of women entrepreneurs.
