On the meeting between Arafat, Blair

The British daily " daily Express" said in its Monday that the visit of Yasser Arafat to Britain is an occasion for the British prime minister Tony Blair to withdraw an open support from Arafat for the American and British military strikes against Afghanistan and that is part of Blair's attempt to withstand the media campaign launched by Bin laden against the West.
The paper added that Blair wants to address the Palestinian question and the issues of the Middle East in order to launch a counter- media campaign against anti- west feelings in the Islamic states, noting that Blair thinks that gaining an open support for the war against Afghanistan from Arafat will be a strong message to the Middle East.
