The US and Syria

The Israeli daily " Jerusalem post" said on Sunday that it seems the US is asking Syria at the meantime to cooperate in chasing al-Qaeyda organization headed by Osama Bin laden, besides keeping conditions on the Lebanese- Israeli border calm.
The daily added that the US did not ask Syria to take tough measures against the Hizbullah party in South Lebanon or against the Palestinian groups, residing in Damascus, which reject peace agreements with Israel..
