Egyptian people celebrate the 20th anniversary of Mubarak in office

The Egyptian people celebrate tomorrow the 20th anniversary marking President Mubarak's assumption of office on October 14th 1981.

It was the day on which the whole categories of the Egyptian people surrounded President Mubarak and rallied around him.

Under President Mubarak many giant unprecedented projects have been carried. He built the then deteriorated infrastructure, introduced economic reform praised by the whole world.

Some 22 new cities have been built in all governorates, and the rate of construction increased as a new hospital was every four days and a school per three days.

Move over major, national projects in Toshka, south of Valley and Port Said. Otner projects were set up, ending the isolation of Sinai from the mainland.

Through his foreign policy, Egypt grew into an influential diplomatic power at the international level. Mubarak has succeeded in leading Egypt to restore its pivotal role regionally and internationally.
